    Robert,
    I’ve seen this in action, but more often I’ve seen the driver be the executives’s
    management (not peers). I think the triage needs to happen at that level.

    Many times the executive’s vulnerability to whack-a-mole at the level of their direct reports is a factor of personality traits (the executive’s).
